UDOO ordered

Since the last update, I ordered the UDOO quad core, the touch screen and have been working on the screen housing. My son and partner in this project is currently designing the power supply for these two devices as well as started on the design for the first shield (an extension board that plugs onto the UDOO computer and offers specialized and customized input/output connections).
We have put together a prioritized list of extensions we want to make.
The computer will be monitoring the CAN-Bus (the vehicle internal network on which the various computers speak to each other) as well as the various custom sensors. Also, this computer will be controlling a number of custom projects, e.g. the new fuel pump system, fuel usage and control of the auxiliary fuel tanks, el. cooling fans conversion and some others that are currently planned.

Will be prettying up the screen housing design and post some pictures in the next few days.
